Luminis is the tribute to female fronted symphonic metal. Incorporating music from bands like Nightwish, Epica, Leaves' Eyes, Within Temptation, and Lacuna Coil, Luminis aims to bring European metal to the forefront. Initially formed back in 2005, Tara (lead vocals / programming) has persevered through the trials and tribulations of forming and maintaining a dedicated band and has brought Luminis to where it is today. Performing live is at the root of this band; however, Luminis is also working on writing original material to eventually make its mark in the female fronted symphonic metal scene. With Tara’s talent and extreme dedication, Luminis is a band to look out for in the very near future!
Luminis can also provide lighter acoustic sounds for small to mid-sized audiences where a full band is not appropriate. Check music player for samples.
