Influences	So many varied influences it's hard and almost unfair to name just a few but we'll try... Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Tom Waits, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Radiohead, Rush, Miles Davis, Cheap Trick, Otis Redding, Oscar Sulley and Mr. Spock.

About Lumus

Lumus is a band consisting of Mert, Doug, Kevin and Dave. All have been in numerous bands previous and all but Mert have been in gigging bands together as far back as the early 1990's. Mert has come to us from his homeland of Turkey with a wonderful style and personality that fits well with the 3 Illinoisans. Practices are marked by intense productivity that has already yielded many strong recordings and new songs. Many original tunes are performed in thier typical set. Gigs began in March of 2008, please keep checking and then come out to see us! Let us know what you think.
