A very unique project from Quebec, Canada, initiated by keyboardist, composer and producer Mathieu Fiset. The idea of having such a project never crossed Mathieu’s mind untill he heard the voice and talent of Hind Fazazi, a young singer from Moroccan origin.
The whole adventure started as an amateur recording session, an afternoon of August 2006. Realising the potential of the young singer, Mathieu invited her to sing on one of his own composition. By sharing their ideas, they quickly realised that something unique was being created so they decided to record a short demo featuring their first creations. This demo simply called Manahil was the first draft of what would later become Hadayane, their debut album.
This album, released in September 2007, is first of all defined by a strong oriental atmosphere, joined by a lot of progressive, electronic and even metal influences. All of the album lyrics are written and sung in arabic.
An EP titled From Roots To Clouds was released on April 9 of 2009, as a limited CD edition and digital download. This record reveals the acoustic side of Manahil, with songs written in english and featuring dark and deep compositions.

Un projet tout à fait unique de Québec, créée par le claviériste, compositeur et producteur Mathieu Fiset. L’idée de mettre sur pied un tel projet ne lui serait jamais venue en tête s’il n’avait pas découvert la voix et le talent de Hind Fazazi, une jeune chanteuse d’origine Marocaine.
L’aventure débuta lors d’une session d’enregistrement amateur un après-midi d’août 2006. Voyant le potentiel de la jeune chanteuse, Mathieu l’invita donc à chanter sur une de ses propres compositions. En mettant leurs idées en commun, ils ont vite réalisé que quelque chose d’unique était en train de se produire, c’est pourquoi ils décidèrent d’enregistrer un court démo avec leurs premières créations. Ce démo simplement intitulé Manahil fut le premier essaie de ce qui allait plus tard devenir Hadayane, leur premier album.
Cet album, sorti en September 2007, est tout d’abord caractérisé par une forte ambiance orientale, accompagnée d’importantes influences progressives, électroniques et même métal, le tout agrémenté de paroles écrites et chantées en arabe.
Un EP intitulé From Roots To Clouds est sorti le 9 Avril 2009 en deux éditions, l’une physique, en nombre limité, l’autre digitale. Cet enregistrement révèle le côté acoustique de Manahil avec des chansons chantées en anglais et des compositions sombres et profondes.

We Are The Clay - It is the second album of the project Stereocaine from Podlasie that is a more than 45 minute musical tale. The tale, in which on one hand, you can clearly feel the references to classics of the genre, on the other hand, it has its own unique style that makes it special. Cool and disturbing soundscapes, which are typical for dark ambient style, are intertwined with elements of neoclassical music here. The mixture that is obtained in this way, grabs listeners and does not allow him to be bored until the very end of the journey through the world created by Stereocaine.
The magnificent neo-classical opus was completed. A real symphony of colors and loops perfectly fit into the electronic avant-garde, creates a unique and impossible to forge artwork. It is a fact that this music is not for every listener, but people who are fond of looking for delicate depths, hidden between "live" instruments such as string instruments, will find themselves in it and will discover themselves once again. The album is soft, not radical, what significantly affects the listening pleasure.
