Mango Alley Recordings is a new digital progressive label, started by Alex Golovanov aka "Mango".
Mango Alley represents the unique vision of its namesake, mango, to showcase the most innovative artists in the modern progressive scene. The label will not only feature new mango productions and remixes (occasionally under the guise "shoreliners"), but also new productions by upcoming artists as well as by the top names in the scene.
Mango Alley looks forward to sharing mango's newest music and highlighting the work of other ground-breaking progressive artists.

This past summer, in honor of its first full year in existence, Mango Alley launched a special remix competition of its celebrated first release, Mango Pres. Shoreliners - "Sandcastles." Numerous artists from around the globe submitted their unique interpretations, so the label was faced with the enormous challenge of picking just three winners, all of whom are featured in this collection. Bale & Voltaire are no strangers to the imprint. The dynamic German duo have captured the beachside essence of the original tune, if not the label in general, with a breezy, melodic progressive rendering. Their remix includes a gentle main break, during which a new arpeggio line, in addition to several other beautiful melodic variations on the lead, come into clear focus to great emotional effect. The second remix in the package comes from newcomer Oleg Izergin, whose "cafe" remix provides an even more chilled, downtempo vision. The track opens with the sounds of a gentle surf and the distant voices of a playful group of beachcombers. A familiarly "Balearic" rhythm section is gradually introduced, eventually developing into a quintessential end-of-summer house groove. Finally, Russian outfit "Teeth & Stuff" provide a much more aggressive remix. The "stormy" mood extends through the break, as the bass energy continues to crescendo and a newly added vintage trance synth rains down overhead. Mango Alley could not have been more satisfied by the level and quality of participation in the contest, but is especially excited to highlight these three phenomenal entries.

RODSKEEZ Heatstroke OUT NOW!
Earlier this year, Mango Alley added another dimension to its repertoire, with the deeper and more subdued "Deviate" by Rodskeez. Since that time, this talented Australian artist has continued to earn praise, with releases on Proton Particles, Baroque, and Tribal Vision. Now back with "Heatstroke," Rodskeez offers a mature blend of late-night atmospheric textures, punctuated by wide-stereo tech effects, in his Original Mix. Deep pads gently propel the track forward, as well as single-tone stabs, which are intricately delayed, occasionally with stutter processing, throughout the tune. Hungarian producer Lank, whose back catalog truly needs no introduction, adds rhythmic energy in his remix and, additionally, expands upon the textures established in the Original. This is a peak hour tune for prog-tech fans, with a hypnotic, dual-note lead that gracefully weaves itself around a driving bassline. Finally, Dutch artist SQL's Dub Mix serves as the quintessential outro track in the package -- an airy and rhythmically delicate interpretation, with just enough bounce to serve house DJ's well in the late night hours.
