i just put FMB on a mix tape for my niece! i was all serious about it, like i had a aunt-y duty to expose her to non-mainstream independent bands with good politics and all-- which i do, but i was all focussed on that and i was totally blind-sided by the emotions and the memories and the voices of you amazing people and the cracking up at the end and i was even there, singing backup, and i'd somehow distanced myself from all of that! sometimes, it's hard to listen to that cd because of all the emotion it brings up, but most of it is good feelings, and missing you all, which is based in the good, too. and you enabled me to send queer-positive swears to my niece. which can only be good. (i wonder if my brother will kill me?) xoxoxoxox

i sent my montreal friends your cd, and lori sent me this message: This album is not long enough. Every time it ends I have to start it over again because it is not enough. What a pain! I sat down to listen to it once this morning and I think I am on my 3rd or 4th listen now, non-stop.
