Influences
Miles Davis says a good musician takes their influence from all forms of art, visual arts, dance, theater, literature, etc., while Messiaen transcribed birdsong and incorporated it into "Classical" pieces...music is everywhere.

Pass the word, due to explosive growth WCAIMA can no longer fit inside Chief Leschi School and will be taking place at the White River Amphitheater on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation. This location is confirmed and contracts have been signed. An estimated 5,000 tickets have already been sold so this is going to be one of the biggest Native American events in the Pacific Northwest outside of the annual Canoe Journey!
