Master Pancake Theater does Independence Day's Blurbs
About me:

MASTER PANCAKE THEATER is the Alamo Drafthouse's premier movie-mockery show. It features John Erler (formerly of The Sinus Show), Joe Parsons, and this month's very special guest-comedians: DAVID JARA AND MAC BLAKE of Mascot Wedding Productions!

You may be familiar with David and Mac from Master Pancake's productions of "Conan the Barbarian", "Road House", and "E.T." They are two very funny guys. One likes comic books, the other is a stuffy high-society heiress. Together they're the unlikeliest comedic duo since hot dogs and death.

For 2 weekends only, Master Pancake will be tackling the "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" of science fiction films: INDEPENDENCE DAY. Starring the Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff Goldblum as the unlikeliest pair of earth-saviors since...ever!

And just to help you remember what movie we're doing and when we're doing it...
"Independence Day" the movie
will premiere on
INDEPENDENCE DAY, the day

Last night was my first James Bond movie and my first Master Pancake experience. This morning I had my first erection. Coincidence? I think not.

Great Show Friday night - I was there at the 730 showing - thought you guys topped the Planet of the Apes that I last saw. I caught the "rapest" joke but I was listening for someone to drop the "pen-is-mighter" but oh well. Good stuff, keep it up - and we'll be doing a podcast soon about it.

I had been hearing about ya'll's show forever from my sister and finally got to see one last night.

Ya'll are awesome! And I loved the Road House/SNL Chippendales skit :)

Looking forward to seeing your future shows! :)

The show was awesome last night. Holly and I both agreed that the dancers looked like Things 1, 2, & 3 from Dr. Seuss.
We had a blast! Thanks!

Tonight's show was hilarious! That was the best stop the movie ever, and now that damn Bonnie Tyler song is stuck in my head.

Shiz, sons! That stop-the-movie skit was damn sexy. No unnecessary zooms there.
Great show!

greetings.
This is a somewhat delayed comment on home alone. 'Twas a great show (both times i saw it). I was the lady laughing/crying/snorting to the left of joe. It was great meeting you, Ben and Scott. I'm sure I'll see you when you guys are "gonna go back in time"...
cheers.

A while back I read an interview with Molly Ringwald where she claimed John Hughes wrote HOME ALONE in three days. Simmer on that for a while...

Oct 31 2007 2:49 AM

I hope you guys break the Ritz in right -- James Dalton style! Although personally, I'm more partial to a little Sam Elliott and Ben Gazarra.

FYI, it looks like Road House director Rowdy Harrington got his start on the movie H.O.T.S. aka T & A academy as an electrician. And all of that best boy and grip experience eventually led him to stage manage Growing Pains. With that kind of pedigree, how could producers not offer him the chance to resurrect Patrick Swayze's career from his post-Dirty Dancing blues and Steel Dawn swoon?

I was at the "Halloween" show on Oct. 27th... it was hilarious! Your MPT crew are very talented, and I'd love to see as many of your shows as I can! Rock on!
