Okay, enough with that official nonsense. I love to play guitar, I live to perform in every sense of the word, and I strive to be creative. I hate using the word 'strive.' I get bored very easily, and have been rumored to go up and down stairs two at a time. I have very long fingers, but please don't talk about them. Please. I play hockey left handed when outdoors, but right handed when indoors. I have no idea why.
Sometimes I play shows with Tim Reynolds, who is an amazing guitar virtuoso with whom I shouldn't even be allowed to same room because he is royalty.
If you are in the Baltimore/DC area, I would love to have your support. I unfortunately cannot afford the time to collaborate with other musicians at the present time, sorry! I'm pursuing a Ph.D. and work three jobs, so forgive me for occasionally being late in responding to your messages and comments.
This also means that I am currently not playing shows (until the work load lightens up).
I love listening to Minus the Bear, Jealousy Curve, Omnisoul, Muse, Mutemath, Frederic Chopin, Michael Hedges, Billy McLaughlin and Tim Reynolds. I'm not sure why I play guitar. I'd much rather play piano or do some Tuvan throat-singing. or both at the same time. I don't even know what I'm doing with this thing.
I am fascinated by foreign language phonology and with left-handed people. I work as a Vietnamese phonetician and it blows my mind.
I miss Philadelphia.
