Once upon a time there was a boy named Jason who was staring out the window of a car as his family drove to the beach. Out of a clear blue sky he told his mom, “Mom, I think I want to play the violin.”
Ever since then he’s been a musician, writing and performing his own songs, as well as playing with such local acts as Diego’s Umbrella, The Pine Box Boys and touring all around the world to cool places like Europe and Japan. He also gives fiddle and guitar lessons in San Francisco.
All his friends started to have kids and the funny thing was their kids really liked the songs off of his first solo album called “Must Have Fun”. So he said to himself, “Self, I think we should form a band and make a whole album of songs for kids to RAWK out to!!” He called up his awesome friends Bernie Jungle and Adam McCauley to play bass and drums and they made an album called “The Thin King”. Then Jason asked his neighboor Liv Lionheart to join in the show as a singer, dancer and merrymaker. They started playing shows around San Francisco in a band called Me 3, and the rest is, as they say, history, or her story…it’s somebody’s story…what’s your story?
