About Megan Orrin

Megan has been playing the violin and trumpet in various bands and orchestras since the age of 7, and singing even longer. She is also a self taught pianst which is her main instrument now. She started writing acoustic folk rock music a couple of years ago, and switched to her new electronica style at the start of '07. She writes all her new music by herself on her computer at home. She is 26 and currently studying a Bach of Arts (Psych) at uni while trying to pursue a music career. She also sings in The Kate Eve Collective. http://www.myspace.com/introducingkateeve

Kate Eve	Jul 1 2009 8:32 AM Megan!! How are things? How's study? You've been very quiet lately. We're in far north QLD for a break and its been a curious time. First we stayed in a treehouse then I developed a lip thing (??) then a knee thing from too many steep climbs (I guess) then I was stalked by a cassowary (after the strawberries...I guess) then we were nearly invloved in a head-on collision when a woman drove on to our side of the road (@ 90ks/ph). Now we're staying in the rainforest with a bunch of yoga enthusiasts and wwoofas. Heheh. You'd love it here. I've got some recordings to run by you when I get abck and we get time together. Big Hell	Apr 17 2009 3:17 AM Done and Done. We are releasing two albums over the course of 2009. The first is an EP of songs written, recorded and produced by us. The second will be an epic multimedia concept album entitled "The Day We Dropped the Bomb Again". It is best described as "The Wall for a Hip Hop generation".
