Welcome to the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival. Along with the wide range of musical expression, we have scores of workshops, parties and dances planned for each festival on our 650 beautiful acres of remote Michigan woodland. For 30+ years, our ever-changing intergenerational tribe of womyn has come together to make music, art, performance and community in a swirling mix of personality, culture, age and experience. We travel to northern Michigan to enjoy another year of unique and diverse performances from an eclectic mix of artists, and to sink into the familiar comfort of a time and space where we celebrate all things female. Make it to Michigan one time and it will call to you each and every August.

The Rainbow Express Bus Will be leaving Aug 2 -12 am returning Aug 9th late night to Cape Girardeau MO.
There will be 6 stops as we wind our way down the highway heading home to Hart, MI. These stops are:

Talk about being excited! Good Lord, y'all...I am more than proud of you this go around. All of YOU have gotten on board with this "Word of Mouth' Campaign about the lickalotta fest and it is showing.
Tennessee, I'm glad you have a nice size group coming out to represent. Georgia, you never disappoint us. North Carolina, it looks like you are doing your part this year, which makes us proud, seeing we live in North Carolina. Virginia representing, you rock! And, it goes on and on, Texas, Kansas, and California. Ohio, I here your coming down, wonderful.
BIG news...Joanie and I will be doing interviews in the next couple of weeks. We will keep you posted, so you can read them and share the excitement and pride we do, about being Camp Lickalotta and having the lickalotta's working right along with us for the community.

San Francisco called Joanie today and we are finisning up an interivew in the next couple of days and will keep you posted. Y'all are becoming famous...LOL...YOU deserve it and we thank each and everyone of you for your love and support of our dream. It's been an adventure, and it's getting ready to get better.
So, www.lickalottafest.com is the place to go to purchase your tickets and sign up for vending. We have plenty of bands and would like a few more vendors to round things out nicely. Also, a few of you may be saying, I would come but, money's tight. Write to us..we have about 4 more free tickets f
