Everything but my dream is to have a classic, blues, zydeco bluegrass band. Seriously. Just listen to my music juke box here.
I do have a special place in my heart for the band in the video though. A lot of reasons including giving me the chance to work with some of the best bands ever.

Movies
I love all kinds of movies, I do reviews for Hollywood Jesus and one of the great perks is finally getting advance screenings. I have interviewed Rob Zombie, Billy Bob Thornton, Mickey Jones, and numerous others.
Television
I am a reality TV nut, I like a lot of shows from Big Brother to Hells Kitchen. I like Smallville, and a number of others as well. The following is a video I put together from the 2007 Season of Big Brother 8.

I pick authors more than books, Creston Mapes, Ted Dekker, Dean Koontz, and I could name about 20 others but these are among my favs.
Heroes
I don't really have heroes, if I did I guess I would pick Tyler Graebner a little boy I worked with who had cancer. Tyler was a great model to go after the things you love. Of course I don't consider Jesus Christ my role model, I consider him my leader and forgiver.

Who I'd like to meet: I would still love to meet Rob Zombie. You can see my thoughts on Rob Zombie by doing a simple google of "Mike Furches" "Rob Zombie" I finally got that interview, now I am ready to meet him and talk. Can't explain it but the man is a genius, I don't care who you are are what you believe. Of course there are others to meet, and maybe I will, I just continue to be amazed that people want to meet me. I hope I get to meet those people as well.

"1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
When we are tempted to conform to the ways of the world, just realize that Jesus Christ was also tempted in all the ways we are tempted. By his experiencing the same pressures we feel today, we have an advocate (defense attorney) between us and God (Jesus Christ) who knows what we are going through. We can boldly approach God for His mercy and have His help in time of need. God's promise to us is that when we are tempted, He will alway provide a way out for us. We just have to look for it to see it.
