Originally from Czech Republic with Russian blood, Mini Da Minx had learned the craft of DJing in Cape Town, South Africa. Since 2002 she was pushing breaks and underground music on the South African dance scene together with African Dope Records, hosting numerous events such as CHIX IN DA MIX and BREAKBEAT CONFERENCE, whilst playing peaktime sets at some of South Africa's biggest festivals- OPPI KOPPI, the CAPE TOWN and the OBS FESTIVALS. Playing alongside heavyweight industry names as Freq Nasty, DJ Vadim and Pascal, she made massive impact with her original sound on South African crowd. She had expanded worldwide with her radio show Breaking Point on Mutha FM and continued with annual mini tours of Europe which have added to a busy schedule, including headlining in PARIS, EDINBURGH and CZECH.

She has rocked Glastonbury 09, headlining Friday night at Wrecking Ball – giant pinball machine dominating Trash City. She has moved to London 3 years ago and after achievements such as reaching the finals in prestige D-joust - DJ competition, hosting one of the rooms at Turnmills's famous Gallery night or rocking the rest of the UK, became fully involved in the London music scene. Minx is gathering fellow ladies for UK editions of "CHIX 'IN DA' MIX" (the female artists/DJs collaborative event she initiated in Cape Town).

For the third year in succession she has teamed up with Richie Balboa to throw unforgettable all day events to mark opening and closing of Lockside Lounge's terrace-BBQ season (Sunset Showdown, Last Party of the Summer) - see gig list for full info.
