Going to the drive-in for the first time in years? Here are some pointers from our frequent visitors:
..
First off, you don't have to stay in your car to watch the movie. That being said...
Bring comfy folding lawn chairs, a portable battery powered radio (boom-box style works best) since movie sound now comes through fm radio, not speakers attached to poles. Car radios work fine but the boombox will take the strain off of your car battery. Bring a jacket, sweater, or a blanket as it can get surprisingly cool and breezy at sunset, even on a HOT day. Spread out and have a great time watching double feature first run movies under the stars!
..
Of course you can always see the movie the old fashioned way... from inside your car. Some prefer the more intimate view of the movie from the backseat, usually through steamed up windows. Go ahead and makeout you crazy kids, but please be discreet and DON'T park next to the station wagon full of wide eyed little kids.

Hungry? The Mission Tiki snack bar has great food, snacks and soft drinks, all at very reasonable prices. Our newly remodeled snack bar is sparkling clean and tiki-riffic!!
You are always welcome to bring along your own food and beverages. And if you are a smoker, feel free to light up but please be considerate of those sitting in your general vicinity. We want everybody to enjoy themselves.
With the recent addition of the super-bright "technalight" projection system, the movies screened at the Mission Tiki rivals the picture quality of the best indoor theatres. Come out and enjoy an evening at the drive-in.
Admission is just $7 per person, that includes both movies. Special events are likely to cost extra.
