MIST031 MY ELECTRIC FAMILY by BACHELORETTE
Bachelorette’s all-new opus MY ELECTRIC FAMILY is a hand-woven sci-folk lullaby that delves into your subconscious and hits you right at your electric core.
Bachelorette video: Her Rotating Head
MIST030 REPO by BLACK DICE
REPO is the sound of a disciplined group of cosmic jokers setting out to reclaim the landscape popular culture would have us believe we cannot afford. The record irreverently mulches the sounds and images of radio, TV and internet into a fertile compost pile squirming with new, raw life. Deluxe digipak comes with 20-page eye candy booklet.
MIST029 BROMST by DAN DEACON
Three years in the making, Bromst is intense and epic, yet down to earth and welcoming. Bromst embodies all the energy and excitement of a Dan Deacon live show, but with a richer palette of acoustic and mechanical instruments (player piano, marimba, glockenspiel, vibraphone, live drums, winds and brass), samples and electronics…. all woven together into a rich, dense, noisy dance pop that has become Dan’s signature sound. Comes with a rad DIY Bromst tent!
MIST028 CHANT DARLING by LAWRENCE ARABIA
Chant Darling is Lawrence Arabia's second album, hewn out of the dual cliches of difficult second album syndrome and the Antipodean relocation to London. Recorded over 18 months in a studio in Stockholm, three flats in London, a garden shed in Port Chalmers, a car club in Wellington and a studio in Auckland, Chant Darling is an embarrassment of pop riches with some of the finest, warmest hearted and plain catchiest songs we've heard!

MIST027 THIS IS IT AND I AM IT AND YOU ARE IT AND SO IS THAT AND HE IS IT AND SHE IS IT AND IT IS IT AND THAT IS THAT by MARNIE STERN
Ok. Let's get this out of the way. Marnie Stern can shred. She's a better guitar player than you, or me, or probably 99% of the people who have ever looked at a guitar. Her album This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That rules everything, and Mistletone is super excited to be releasing it in Australia & New Zealand. Look out for a winter tour!
Awesome Marnie Stern video! Ruler

MISTO25 BAD VIBRATIONS by PANEL OF JUDGES
Panel of Judges have made the modest masterpiece of their 10 year career. Bad Vibrations crystallises everything that is great about these beloved bastions of the Melbourne underground: restless imagination, lazily catchy melodies, epic rhythms, and heavenly riffs. Out now on vinyl and CD!
MIST024 COSA ASTRAL by COCONOT
Coconot (Pablo Díaz-Reixa, Cristian Subirà and Jens Neumaier) are frontrunners of Barcelona’s thriving underground music scene. Their incredible new album Cosa Astral is a stunning leap forwards which twists the limits of pop music into a new sphere. Here is a place where beauty flows and joy shines forth in a riot of colorful, swirling tropicalismo-psychedelics. The soundtrack to a heady, sunshiney summer!
MIST023 BEACHES by BEACHES
The debut self titled album by Beaches is a journey into the sublime. Twelve songs born out of sprawling jams, chiselled into rough-diamond perfection, laden with cosmic guitar stretches, vast textures, conjuring voices and phantom frequencies. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, the five women of Beaches have created a psych-rock epic, steeped in the imagery of the natural and temporal world.
MIST022 DELAYS by MARK BARRAGE
Cracked pop fuzzbox MARK BARRAGE makes a nervy sound tonic, equal parts pop music EQd to breaking point and midnight crucifix synth-kraut. Three years in the making, Delays by Mark Barrage finds the dissonant electronic songster shift from the overtly lyrical, heartbreak-obsessed territory of his debut into realms of hard sound, dance timings, band-ish arrangements and bleary-eyed nighttime sensation.
MISTO21 High Places by High Places
High Places’ self-titled debut was recorded by Rob and Mary in their apartment in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood between January and May of 2008. They employed a wide variety of instruments to make this album ranging from the more traditional: 12 string guitar, banjo, shakers and rattles, bass, bells and Kalimba, to the inventive: plastic bags, mixing bowls, wood blocks and other common household objects. The album has a contemplative and organic lyrical tone emphasized by the themes of goodness manifested in nature, hardship and wonder as necessities to human existence and growth.
MIST020 03/07-09-07 by High Places

Dream Island Laughing Language, the 19th release by Lucky Dragons details the continuing pursuit of a humble and ecstatic, drippy and explosive, smoldering and upset music.
MIST017 Kes Band by Kes Band
The extraordinary Kes Band album is now into its second pressing and available on digipak. Recorded by James Cecil of Architecture in Helsinki fame in his Super Melody World studio, Kes Band is a stupendous leap forward from “The Grey Goose Wing”, with the same adventurous spirit but with a more concise and accessible pop sensibility.
MIST017 CASS Kes Band cassette! $12 including postage :)
MIST018 Alegranza by El Guincho
Mistletone is proud as a parrot to release Alegranza in Australia & New Zealand, in a beautiful glossy digipak. It's a mindblowing mix of afro-beat percussion, calypso harmonies, psych tropicália, world music samplers, doo wop, trance repetition, underwater pop, steel drums and island feeling plus club oriented song structures, uptempo beats and exotica production. Fantástico!

MIST016 Devotion by Beach House
The superb second album from Baltimore duo Beach House is called Devotion and it is truly beautiful. The dreamy, hazy lost-world sound of their debut continues with 11 enchanting songs (including a Daniel Johnston cover!)

MIST014 The Evening Descends by Evangelicals
Dabbling in glam, slipping in a little funk and soul, drinking the psychedelic Kool-aid, blasting the synths, cranking up the guitars, and wrapping it all up with a dose of pop smarts, The Evening Descends by Oklahoma's Evangelicals is the first great album of 2008! Click on the image above to mail order The Evening Descends and in a fit of generosity we shall send you a copy of the Evangelicals’ mind blowing debut So Gone FREE!

MIST012 Load Blown by Black Dice
Load Blown is the fourth album by Brooklyn’s Black Dice. The beats drip and roll, tar-pit voices sing into an oil can, and the guitars crank like calliope. Some tunes crackle and burble like submerged television, others bump and click along like a Summer Jam concert series from another dimension.
MISTO11 Isolation Loops by Bachelorette
Bachelorette is the alter ego of Annabel Alpers, multi-instrumentalist and shining star of the New Zealand indie music scene. Her beautiful album is cosmic folk and psychedelic pop par excellence!
Fractured kaleidoscope pop sound artist extraordinaire, Francis Plagne, was once described by a wise music critic as having "the sensibility of a middle-aged musicologist and the free-form enthusiasm of a teenage music nerd". His second self-titled album is a collaborative release between Mistletone and Synaesthesia Records.
