A lot of different influences subconsciously find their way into the music, some way or another. I am probably not directly influenced by specific musicians/composers, but here are some names that make me perk up my ears when their soundscapes float my way: Aaron Copland, Ralph Vaughan Williams, John Adams, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Steve Reich, Klaus Schulze, William Walton, Benjamin Britten, The Enid, Deep Purple, Genesis, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd.
Modular::Experiments is mainly improvised music, using an analog, modular synthesizer and sequencers as central sound elements. I was experimenting with a big modular when these tracks were recorded, hence the name. I now have one of these analog beasts myself, a system that will probably be an eternal "work in progress"! But that's the beauty of these things, isn't it?
My music can be soft and lyrical, other times intense and driving. I like the contrast between the static, machine-like feel of sequencer patterns, and the spontaneous quality of the improvised solos and sound effects. The step sequencer can, by its nature, impose limitations on the chord variations possible, so it's a challenge to try and stretch that as far as I can, and create interesting harmonies on top of the sequencer groove.
thank you too for your kind message and friendship. Your music have a deep lyrical quality joined with experimental quest. Both sides are scarcely found together. Best regards from France

Thank you for the add. I'm a big fan of 1975-76 live tangerine dream. I love that you've continued from where they (sadly) left off and have made something uniquely your own from that root.
