Autobiography:
Music was there, as long as I remimber, singing for parties and playing music toys. I was 11 years old when I started a 5 year conservatory program. I also joined bands and took lessons with different teachers. At 19, I was playing bass 6 nights a week at a 5 stars Hotel, but most important, practicing about 8 hours a day. That was in Tunisia, my homeland.
I mooved to Moncton NB Canada, in 1993. I took classical guitar as a main instrument, but I was giging and recording as a bass player with jazz, blues, pop and worldbeat bands. It was great back there, I had to do a lots of shows for festivals, to compose for films. I made several appearences on TV5, CBC, Radio Canada, Global TV and others. I started teaching private and small groups in 1998.
In 2002, I had to move to the cosmopolitain city of Montreal. I am still here, I've been playing with musicians from all over the world. Manouche, Chineese, jazz, arab , turkish, drum and bass and of course rock and jazz. I formed one traditionnal arab band with a funky, earthy sound and another jazz trio with a rownd ethnic groove to it.

Salut mon ami !
