Sounds Like
ancient birdsong tales... uncompromising abstractions... sonic blasts of pysch drone... primordial static... in nature's powwow, raking guitar strings into twilight... the truth...
like soft thunder echoing in a river gorged valley, below the high peaked mountains covered with thick groves of swaying pine...
like an oil painting with deep violet-blue color harmonies playing off of warmer tones, or black and white gradations intermingling with undulating line...
guitar based compositions that sound: visceral, atmospheric, ethereal, passionate, eclectic, low-end, transcendental, pure expression, ambient, experimental, indie, alternative, psychedelic, shoegaze, electric, acoustic, drone, rock, dark folk, space rock, psych jazz, acid jazz, instrumental, down-tempo...
M o o n b l o o m . . . Moonbloom was formed by and is solo songwriter/guitarist and visual artist Wayne J. Tirone. His music has varying moods like the northern seasons yet, tends towards a ’blue-violet’ melancholy. The dynamic between music and visual art influencing each other is the dual process Tirone works in. Inspiration outside of these artistic disciplines comes from a deep reverence for nature and animals. A Paier College of Art graduate (BFA), Tirone’s had numerous conceptual illustrations published, including editorial art illustrating feature articles for the Hartford Courant.
hello there and thank you for your interest in melancholia. i am enjoying your track on here very much, great work. i support you and your project with high regards.
thanks for the kind words. great page, friends, pics and music. the song reminds me of a psychedelic one by a musician friend who passed away- chris whitley. it also reminds me of someone else but i cannot put my finger on it.
(note- it is a good thing - at least in my opinion- when music sounds like someone else's so long as it isn't blatant. or even more so when you cannot quite place it as with yours... brilliant....) E
Have you seen Dead man directed by Jim Jarmusch? I think your music has got something in common with Neil Young´s music in that film. Great film, by the way, one of my favorites! I like the mood in your tune! /Christofer
