Moons of Cronos hails from Northern California....... Moons prides itself on rocking big, loud and delivering the riffs. Formed in 2006 with Patrik Martinez on bass/guitar, Richard Von Hideous on Bass/guitar, and Mike Self on drums. The band wrote what was to be its debut record in its first few months out of some old songs of previous projects, , new songs were written and alot of jam sessions. After recruiting Tim Narducci to do the record at Sonic Rooms Studios in Oakland and then mixing it in the livermore location, Moons released its debut on purple astronaut in 2007 and currently plays shows around northern california and wherever the rock is needed.
