MothSpyEros is a collective of musicians, poets, sound makers, vinyl lovers. Here to make music out of organic sounds, broken instruments and anything else that comes our way. In the current formation of 3 we have me (Ruben Reveles), Ruebi Freyja, and Amber Padgett (Spider Silk Dress) heading the way. When we record, others will join in to add their talents. So come back as we post new songs from recording. Also their will be a project called Thrift Store Paintings which will consist of songs that begin with old record samples and then the rest is organic. So it will have an old sound to it. if you ever seen a thrift store painting the you know what I am talking about. MothSpyEros' "Sueno Rojo" is a lulling dreamscape of dark but not morbid
spaciousness, a veritable audio world into which the viewer can be transported.
Fusing organic elements with electronic ambience and ultra chilled beats and textures,
with lots of wide open space. Note: These spaces don't translate as empty places the
artist failed to fill in. Rather, there is presence there, like the aliveness of a dark empty
room. It has body and is able to envelop the listener with its embrace of shadows. From within this realm comes the voices, mulitple sometimes, and haunting and moving with their own unique flow. Dark but not unfriendly woods at night have been created here, brought into being in musical form, with the creatures of the night whispering from just beyond sight. And the words that they're whispering is that this is a four star CD.--
