Motown Writers Network was created in 2000 to educate, network, and market writers on and off the Internet. With over 600 + members, MWN has grown on and off the Internet as one of the Largest Michigan organizations.
Currently, MWN has several projects in the works. Not only does the group have an online discussion group called Detroit Writers Galore, but in November of 2006, MWN with the support of other local writing groups, will have its third Essence of Motown Literary Conference http://geocities.com/essenceofmotown.
Please click on the links below or go to the links section to find out more about us.
As we are expanding on and off the Internet to make ourselves known to Michigan writers who were born here and live here, we have joined with Yahoo and MySpace to create a site and start a discussion. Our other newsletter list is located on Topica, and if you wish to see the archieves go to: http://lists.topica.com and do a search for Motown Writers Network. To receive the official newsletter, please make sure you join the Yahoo or Topica group.
We invite all members to submit items to the newsletter. This includes literary essays of your fustration as a writer, articles, schedule of events, and new book releases. Thank you.

I hope everyone is beginning their week productively and in good spirits. This past weekend I decided to completely challenge myself and anyone else who would like to accept.
I am going to attept to post 300 BLOGS IN 20 DAYS. I know it seems crazy but this is something that I need to do for myself. I want all of you to stop by http://trinalynnethewriter.blogspot.com and show love by supporting my efforts to achieve this goal.
If you are a blogger, give your readers a real treat by accepting the challenge to do 300 BLOGS IN 20 DAYS. There is no prize for the challenge, but just a chance to push yourself to your full potential. Allow your creativity to explode with ideas.
I will number each blog within the 300 blog challenge to allow everyone to calculate the days that it takes once I begin. If anyone decides to take the challenge I ask that you number yours too.
Stayed Tuned This Week For The Date I Will Be Starting.
Until then,
TrinaLynne
Email me: trinalynnethewriter@hotmail.com to let me know if you are accepting the challenge. Please include the url for your blog so that I may support you as well.

The Roadhead Journal Online Magazine of Art, Anarchy, Literature, and Pop Culture Dumpster Diving
This compendium of illiterations, art, literature and journalism is a compost pile of fermenting illiterati to toss onto the garden of your imagination to further fertilize it to yield a bounty of ideas and free thought. It breaks rules as it does not recognize good grammer in some instances as the final authority over random thought. The words and art herein hopefully fall from an imaginary pinata as delightful and delicious candy

Have a great week and here is a poem to take you back, or take you there
I RODE DOWN THE LONELY HI-WAY With the top down, the sounds of the ocean waves mixed with the soul of my 8 track player The Dells crooned, “The Love We Had Stays On My Mind” My Blues bled into the dark sky My eyes were on the road but, I see her at every mile marker, and with every star that sparkled above I pushed on the gas as my heart raced Where am I going? Anywhere she might be Teasing my soul hoping she was headed to me Whoooo… I took that corner too fast Slow down and live with the memories Like when we were lovers in the night She is sitting on my love Her hands spread on my chest Her lips and eyes smile Feeling my love We were cruising after we had climbed a mountain I’m watching her mountains rise and fall, and drip on me She and I create streams that lead to her river I hold onto her firm Whoooo… I almost ran off the road I’m squeezing the driving wheel with all my might; my hands are numb I look to the passage seat I’m alone on this lonely hi-way I check my seat belt, adjust my mirror, and try to adjust to the fact…she is gone I turn the 8 track up, and hit repeat…again, as The Dells croon, “The Love We Had Stays On My Mind” I hit the gas and head home
