Just thought I'd let you know about a gig we're doing which might (sniff) be our last. For a number of reasons we're calling it a day after October, at least for a while.
So this is going to be pretty special.
We've got the big Live Room at Plug in Sheffield for the night, and pressganged almost everybody who has ever played with us over the years to join us for an Uber-Gig of Justice.
We're playing from 8 till 10:30 with a bit of a break in the middle. Then we've got the Earth Bar for more dancing and a nice chilled out after-party till 3.
It's £6 in advance from Plug Box Office on rockingham Gate (tel 0114 2413040), Jack's Records on Division Street and online at http://www.the-plug.com/tickets. And this one’s open to anyone over 14 too!
We're going to blast through into a better, oranger dimension. Please join us.

The Bon Bon Club are Sushi Quatro (bass, vox), Thirsty Moore (drums, vox) and Chapatti Smith (perc, vox), although Sushi and Thirsty are better known under different names for their day job as the rhythm section of Sheffield glam-popsters The Long Blondes.
hello, you can now listen to 6 (six) of our new songs. though this actually means three proper new songs, one re-recorded old song, a new iteration of the magic road and a cover of a smog song.
anyway, please plant our songs in your social-networking allotment.
"When the Work Is Done" on my radio show, The British Breakfast on WRIR 97.3FM Richmond, Virginia USA (www.wrir.org) between 9-11am this morning which is about 2 hours fron now.
Hope the gig was great last night. Couldn't hear much of it inside a three hour traffic jam on the M1, so gave up and turned round but listening to your stuff on the MP3 at least stopped total road rage.
I've just bought my tickets for Sheffield having only discovered you yesterday through Bloodline on some iTunes compilation. So I hope you'll play it! Love your sound. Beautiful music and sad your 'hiatusing' just as I've found you.
I am so pleased that Chris kept me in the loop with your gigs, and that I came to see you at Bush Hall. What a gig! You have such a loving audience, I was so impressed. If you decide to part i can see you will be sorely missed, and I can also see why.. thanks for a fab Friday evening. I've just ordered one of your albums and look forward to hearing Science again...xxx
