MUSIC TALKS EDUCATIONAL CENTER MTEC is a “virtual world” learning institution for recording artists, musicians, songwriters, producers, recording engineers and studio owners. Equipped with streaming video, students as avatars can walk, run or fly to attended classes of their preferred course of study. MTEC houses five virtual classrooms, an amphitheater, recording studio, bookstore café, outdoor stage and two dormitory buildings holding a total of 48 dorm rooms for recording artist. Courses are taught "live" by teachers. Classes are moderated via VOIP using microphone headsets along with text messaging. Music Talks curriculum and courses educate on entrepreneurship, personal development and artist development. MTEC has all the benefits of a real world brick and mortar educational facility, but because it's virtual and on the internet, MTEC reaches and educates recording artists and industry professionals all over the globe.
