Narwhal Tusk is a young Melodic Metal band from Taganrog, Russia. Their style is characterized by catchy melodies, massive orchestral parts, heavy guitar riffs and strong female vocals doubled by vast choirs and male vocal parts.
Narwhal Tusk was found in 2006 and since then the band has released an Internet-EP Widow's Walk (2009) and a full-length album In Despair (late 2010) which is out now on one of the biggest Russian labels MUSICA Production.
The band has also taken part in many compilations around the globe. Among others, Warriors of Metal III (USA), which is a promo CD for one of the metal open-air festivals in the States. Narwhal Tusk is aired by a lot of radio stations worldwide. Among others Metal Messiah Radio, Rockin Mayhem Radio (USA), La Grosse Radio Metal (France), Radio Metal (Ukraine), and more.
Playing live is a very high priority for the band. Narwhal Tusk has played more than 30 gigs in 2010. At the moment the band is busy working on the material for the upcoming album and very soon you'll be able to hear new tunes by Narwhal Tusk!
