My name is James Otis III aka (k)nathan ryan- I sing and perform cover songs of an unknown singer/songwriter Nathan Ryan. I met Nathan in Boston 2005- in a flower shop/ bakery in the North End. He was dining on a piano and hadn't finished the strings- I asked him if he minded? He replied- he liked the wood and felt- but he's never been a fan of the steel- too stringy. We struck up a conversation about conversation and realized we were both fond of Alyosha, persimmons and Zwaagstra. We began meeting regularly in the fifth pocket of some worn blues- in Brighton...which later turned to Cambridge. We played one show together in a joint off the alley of Bruins for a thirty eight dollar swindler, some cassavettes and a Yen. Things went really well and that's when Nathan turned to me- told me his story and handed me a bag of papers strewn together by a single piece of fabric, woven seamlessly. I was upset at first, but I understood that sometimes Saskatchewan calls- and sometimes you just have to answer. I hope that I do the songs justice- I have been given over to ego from time to time, but I'm pretty sure this is what I was unborn to do. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

SOMEDAY my ipod thing will be gone from the office. you'd think that day would be sooner rather than later but probably not. ok cool well get back to work, or get back to staring at the dark and abysmal pool, either way!
