Neon Electric are a two-piece Live-Electro/Dance band from Adelaide, SA consisting of Tony Irish (drums/percussion) and Mario Spate (vocals/synthesizers). It's music for dancing, late nights, street parties, holding hands, telling secrets, first kisses and road trips. Smooth Live-Electro/Dance echoing the sounds of Disco and New Wave.
Neon Electric are influenced by moods rather than sounds, the feeling of being young, surprising yourself and trying to be brave even if you screw up. The first time you kissed someone on the lips, riding your bike around the neighborhood and the first time you saw Star Wars.
The band have spent the past 1 and a half years playing live in Adelaide’s premier venues and indie nights, building their fan base as well as securing a fortnightly DJ residency at The Crown & Anchor. They have recently shot a film clip for their new single with multi-award winning film makers Closer Productions are about to release their full length debut album, ‘Electric!’. In early September the band were signed to JL Publishing.
