Hi Brent,

How are you? Are you playing much saw these days?

I wanted to let you know that last summer's Musical Saw Festival made a top 10 list. It's number 2 on WFMU Radio DJ Bronwyn's list of Best Things of 2008.
You can find the WFMU list here: http://blog. wfmu. org/freeform/2009/01/pretty-good-the. html

This year’s NYC Musical Saw Festival is scheduled for July 18, 2009,
2pm. It sure would be great if you could participate!

All the best,

Natalia

I second that motion.... please come to PA. I saw you at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and I found your work to be amazingly intense. Edinboro University would be a good stop.....or at least Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or Buffalo...those are close too.

The American animation filmmaker BRENT GREEN is the next focus of the Berlin - New York series put on by M:Soundtrack and Babylon in partnership with EXBERLINER & Radioeins. Performing live with Jim Becker from the band Califone (plus a solo set!),Green will be adding a live narration and soundtrack to his animated works. Dubbed by The New York Times as "some of the most original animations we have seen in years," Green's films resemble demented Paul Klee paintings: a mix of drawings and stick figures in a deceptively naive style of animation. The voiceover works like a soundtrack and adds a creepy, almost cruel sense of humor to the images. Hadacol Christmas is a very original Santa Claus story that somehow involves birds swimming through the air and getting drunk while sitting on a branch. EXBERLINER 12/08
