We encourage music clips from indie and unsigned bands as well.
Movies
We accept short films of almost every genre (except porn), original, and preferably not longer than 30 minutes.
Television
Unfortunately, we do not accept videos that have been ripped from TV shows. Basically, anything that has copyright snags will not be accepted. We encourage fresh and original work.
Heroes
We prefer doers to dreamers. Anyone who stops fantasising what it would be like to become a succesful filmmaker and actually does something about it is pretty damn heroic in our book!
About me: Nice Shorts is a website dedicated to showcasing quality short films, animation, and music videos made by aspiring filmmakers and visual artists from all over the world.
We’re more than the usual online consumer media resource. Apart from screening films, we also offer exclusive interviews with respected industry professionals, mini- documentaries on what goes on behind the scenes, featurettes on up-and-coming feature films and a unique profile page for every filmmaker whose work is featured on the site.
Nice Shorts is completely FREE to filmmakers, artists and casual viewers. We’re non-exclusive too, which means you are free to show your work elsewhere. Our goal really is to be one of several platforms for your film to be seen.
