This project is my second musical project. It is all about chill, triphop and dub vibes, with nice grooving beats. Besides producing I also do perform my music live.
Feel free to mail me, if you have any questions, or requests of any kind I've been playing a lot of instruments when I was a kid. The one I played the longest were the Drums, which I still like to play. I also had some piano lessons and violin, although this was a long time ago ^^Roots : I"ve listenend to all kind of music when I was young(er), let's say I had a more commercial moment, with the dance hits from the 90's. Then I moved on to metal, specialy hardcore metal, progressif metal, symphonic metal, ...
Then I rediscoverd electronic music, with trip hop & drum'n 'bass, which was an important turn, cause as a drummer I prefer breaks to 4/4 beats like in techno.
My first solo productions were therefore very d'n'b inspired.
After a while my first musical project was born : Wan Bushi (www.myspace.com/wanbushi) which is more influenced by the underground jungle breackore & drum'n bass scene. But I needed another way to express myself, something different, more relaxed and peacefull, emo, ... And that's why Nihaya Tree was born. Hope u will enjoy

The Taraf de Haïdouks - the name literally translates as "band of honourable brigands" - are a bunch of extraordinary and colourful characters, who have managed to convince the audiences of the biggest World Music festivals. "Their wild energy is the essence of gypsy music ... their set seemed like the bubbling source of 20th century rhythm ... they spun out cadences that recalled bebop, salsa, and the polyrhythms of Zimbabwe and Nigeria" (The New York Times), "the band that's wowing London" (The Evening Standard, 7 June 2001) through their rhythmically complex songs with grace, easy camaraderie and sense of mischief wins over everybody in concerts.
Along with these ambitious compositions one will rediscover with great pleasure the fantastic atmosphere of a Taraf de Haïdouks live performance in a collection of previously-unrecorded pieces featuring the various singers and soloists in top form and particularly galvanized by the importance of the event. These were indeed the band's first ever concerts in the Romanian capital; after ten years of international success the Taraf were still not recognized in their own country (maybe because they were perceived as Gypsies rather than as musicians).

Catita!-"It is not by mere occasion that this release has the term "HyperSpace" on the title. On his debut release at Catita, Skip gives us fast lo-fi beats and speedy melodies, mixed up with Aphex Twin and served as what we like to call "Drum'n'tendo". A robot from space demanded and Catita delivered."
