No Dreads Started in July 2006. Miles and Nigel played in 30 Sence and Chris played in 2nd Nature. The 30 Sence fellas contacted Chris one Saturday afternoon about strummin some guitar at Phil's Grill that evening. Apparently the other members of 30 Sence frailed on the show, which if they didn't the 3 Gringo's (Miles, Nigel, and Red) might not have ever met together on a stage. As baked as he was when recieving the call, Chris, being a nice guy, and one of the coolest ever by the way, agreed to help the fellas out with the gig. The show was a drunken success. SERIOUSLY DRUNK. The guys had more fun getting wasted and improving shit that night then playing with their other bands, and suprisingly didn't sound band considering all the alcohol and Maryganja in the mix. Immediately they got together a couple more shows to get wasted for free. Soon they found immediate success in their home town of Virginia Beach where the Beer flows like wine. Within months of forming that random evening at Phil's Grill they had a slue of catchy original songs (well the Kitchens think they are) already written, on bar naps, and a georgous following that would spit along. Through years of trials and tribulations and drama and drama the fellas have settled in as one of Virginia Beach's best funnest bands to see on a regular basis. Their sounds have traveled North to Atlantic City, New Jersey and down to Wilmington, North Carolina thus far. By Summer 2009 the guys are hoping to release their first studio recording, if all goes to plan. Stayed TUNED ALWAYS cause we constantly update our songs on the playlist...due to the fact we have over 35 originals demo out to date! Come join the party$$$
