No Hats No Hoods launched its first vinyl release on Monday 6th August 2007.
The label, specialising in underground music from the capital and beyond, is the side project from the team behind the London's most innovative night - DIRTY CANVAS. The night is the only consistent night in the capital that successfully showcases groundbreaking grime talent alongside other genres and renowned artists. In such forward thinking venues such as Whitechapel Art Gallery the ICA and The Rhythm Factory, the past two years have seen Dirty Canvas work with the best in the grime scene – including Wiley, Durrty Goodz, Trim, Roll Deep, Boy Better Know, Jammer and The Newham Generals
The label has several more releases planned for 2008 and is set to firmly establish itself as THE forward thinking grime record label.
