Finnish Heavy Metal Super Group to Release a Follow-up to Their Gold-selling debut

On November 19, Warner Music will release an anticipated second album from Northern Kings – the Finnish heavy metal vocal group comprising of Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica), J Ahola (Teräsbetoni) and JP Leppäluoto (Charon).

A year ago Northern Kings redefined the meaning of a cover song with their debut album Reborn, released in the fall of 2007. The bold collection of 80’s classics reshaped to metal versions achieved gold status in Finland and was released throughout Europe as well as in Japan.

The new album titled Rethroned is, as its predecessor, an 11-track triumph of legendary tunes covered in heavy metal style.
