Studio-X is a hard dance project founded by MAT-X (Matthew) & LOS-X (Lawrie) in December 2008. The project is currently based in Adelaide, Australia.
Throughout the first half of 2009, founding tracks and remixes for the project we're produced in co-operation with some of the leading artists in the Electro/Industrial scene including: Straftanz, Memmaker, XP8, Blind With Rain, Animassacre, Ext!ze, Experiment Haywire & Angelspit.
The resulting tracks and remixes from early 2009, were placed on the limited independent CD compilation release: 'Industrial/Hardstyle Revolution Worldwide: Chapter I'.
Since the release of the compilation, Studio-X has become a sought after project for compilations, remixing and collaboration work in the electro/industrial scene. 20 further CD appearances are anticipated for Studio-X before the end of 2009.
A record deal for Studio-X with a follow up LP is currently underway. More news soon!
Remixes
Studio-X have remixed Angelspit, Animassacre, Blind With Rain, Essence Of Mind, Experiment Haywire, EXT!ZE, Grendel, Helalyn Flowers, I:Scintilla, Implant, Julien-K, Leaether Strip, Straftanz and XP8 for various releases and competitions. A comprehensive remix overview will appear on the official website soon.
