Tyler is Lukas Hillebrand, Peter Schönbauer and Alex Pohn, three Austrians that are ready to put their individual style on the global map.
The fusion of hooky riffs, perfect melodies and smart lyric-writing have led the trio to create a true mix of powerful, meaningful and innovative indie rock. They blow the boundaries of empty genre definitions.
The band’s live experience has seen them on the road with the likes of: Simple Minds, Soundtrack of Our Lives, Christina Stürmer, Mark Owen and Revolverheld.
Put simply: Tyler is Tyler - happy, aggressive, melancholic, nostalgiac, pensive, undecided, sensitive, pained, jealous, cool, advisory, positive.
Whereas their debut album "Don’t Play" was a great collection of songs, their still untitled second record will certainly be more of a unified album. You still have the rock aggression of Separated, the sombre beauty of Beautiful and the melodic innovation of Hello, but it’s all taken to the natural next level. A more experienced, adventurous, homogenous and kick-ass Tyler!
2010 will see the release of Tyler’s second album.
