Orestea are a 5 piece, female fronted, melodic metal band from Guildford, Surrey. .
The band is made up of; Lisa Avon (Vocals) Lloyd Wilson (Guitar) Luke Genders (Guitar) Mike Quinn (Bass) and Will Crozier (Drums).
They formed in late 2008 after realising their mutual love for all things metal.
The band’s debut E.P ‘Shadows Of Yesterday’ was released in April 09.
With a highly acclaimed E.P release, and a performance at the famous Download Festival 2009 under their belts, Orestea have been marked as one of the bands to look out for in the very near future!

Just because you're not well known doesn't mean you can't headline your own gig! ;D Why not try making up your own business cards? You know just stick a contact number and/or email address on and give them out :) A band up here handed them out at a local bands showcase gig with contact details if anyone wanted them for part of other band's gig, or even private parties! A college mate of mine certainly hired them for their 17th b'day, not quite a typical gig sized crowd but still enough for a good night (and a small 'pit' :p)!

And the bouncer was like you must not be in here past 7 if your under 18, and i was like even if your playing and he said yes, so it was lucky i could play :). Ben x
