With two years growth on Portland roots Outpost has developed a sound, and scene, on the fringe of the mainstream. Drawing on numerous influences, both fresh and old school, they combine the dancing grooves of reggae and funk with the consciousness and fire of underground hip-hop.
Outpost has recorded their first album, Crack the Pavement (2007), toured the west coast from San Diego to Seattle, and shared the stage with great acts such as John Brown's Body, The Aggrolites, SOJA, The Supervillians, and Pass-a-Fire.
