Originally from Billings Montana, Pablo Masis studied trumpet at Lawrence
University and at the University of New Orleans. He then moved to Omaha
Nebraska in 2004 and was an active freelancer and bandleader, performing
throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. In April of 2007 Pablo
attended the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program at the Kennedy Center. In
the fall of 2008, Pablo relocated to New York City and has since performed at venues including The Bitter End and Joe's Pub. In May of 2009 Pablo attended the Banff Centre's International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music, led by jazz icon Dave Douglas. Visit him on the web
