PARADISE STREET is a collaboration between singer-songwriter Paul Jeffery and lyricist Cath Walls.
This association has resulted in a new album ‘CATHARSIS’: a 13-song collection of melodic and often touching unrequited love songs, featuring some of the UK’s top female singing talent.
Both from West Yorkshire, England, Paul already enjoys a successful solo career with 2 album releases to date and Cath is an accomplished writer and a semi-finalist from the highly-acclaimed UK Songwriting Contest 2008. Their previous teamwork resulted in a national UK single release ‘More Than The Need’ which reached the Top 20 in the UK Independent Charts.
Whilst Paul’s solo albums reflect an influence of classic rock singer-songwriters this project represents a totally different outlet, both in style and muse. As melody writer, Paul draws on a range of influences from female artists such as Kate Bush, Dido, Annie Lennox and Tori Amos. Such an eclectic taste in music has made it impossible for Paul to remain in ‘one box’ and the need to explore different genres was a big inspiration behind this project.
Cath always writes strictly from the heart. Whilst that may be an over-used cliché it is nevertheless still true and very important. These songs are a therapeutic outlet, the very nature of catharsis itself.

not too gud not too bad but, If singing is your last !passion then I must say you need looooot of improvements both in poem/ lyrics and your music side is very week lyrics should touch the heart like in Dido's ongs such as (Life For Rent , Thank You etc..) I hope you get it.. thanks for ADD.
