Patrick Naylor has performed extensively as a guitarist and bandleader. His contempory band Soundial released two critically acclaimed albums of original compositions and have completed 4 Jazz Services sponsored tours of the UK. Soundial's debut album was jazz CD of the week in the London Evening Standard, and their 2003 album -Afternoon Moon was in Chrissie Murray's CD's of the year.
Patrick has recorded with a number of different artists in the jazz world including
Viper's Dream, David Beebee's Gaya, Julian Costello and Ian East. Patrick worked extensively as a session musician for Mercury Records and has recorded a number of pieces for film, TV and radio including: 2 series of Maigret for BBC Radio 4, a Channel 4 News report, and a number of feature films and TV programmes with composer Daniel Teper. His educational work includes running guitar classes and workshops at HGSI.
