With a special gift for melody and an expressive range from the most delicately intimate to explosively epic, Patrick Savage is a young British/Australian film composer fast establishing a great reputation in Europe and the United States. Trained at the Royal College of Music in London, Patrick has scored numerous films on both sides of the Atlantic.
He now also regularly collaborates on film scores with the French composer/producer Holeg Spies. Together they have just completed the score for the horror feature 'The Human Centipede'
Later this year they will join forces again on the US horror feature, Depravity (director, Christopher M Downs).
He is resident composer for the 'Enigmatic Film' company in London, and has scored their entire, sizeable output of short films. For Enigmatic he will write the full orchestral soundtrack of their upcoming feature film, Sleep One More Night. He has also written for 'Open Rhodes' production company, and scored their web-based sitcom series, 'Lee's Sitcom' which was distributed by Virgin - one of the first internet-based comedy shows.
Short films he has scored have featured and won awards at major film festivals around the world, including DC Shorts, the LA Short Film Festval, FrightFest in London and Fantasporto in Portugal, among many others.
Although Patrick specialises in orchestral soundtracks, he is a proficient computer musician, working mainly with Logic Pro and recording in his home-studio, and can work within most budgetary requirements. Though his training is classical, he is versatile and enjoys writing in all styles.
He also has a wealth of experience working as a musician on such film scores as the Academy Award winning 'Lord of the Rings' Trilogy (music by Howard Shore), Mr Bean 2 and 'Valiant' (music by George Fenton)

Just dropping in to see what was new with you. "Savage Spies" is a cool little piece. The music fits the title very well. One can hear the intrigue and danger woven right into the fabric of the track. It's no wonder that you're so successful at what you do. Kudos! Hope you're having a great weekend and hope you don't mind that we added you to our Top Friends for a little while. :-)
Contrary to popular belief (from those UNDER 30) 31 is only the beginning.
Now you know enough to REALLY start doing something! LOL!
Hope you're doing great - I'm back in LA. Have a listen to some of the tunes on my site. Very different from Tom Smith. As a matter of fact, I'd like to introduce you to my other clients, including an honestly amazing jazz player named Mike "Jonesy" Jones. See his video on the left of my page.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
Lauren

Hey nice to be friends - we love your work too - we have just been doin remixes lately (all major artists) we would want to work with someone like yourself because your work is more classical and orchestrated - we love big string arrangements etc - what do you reckon?
"Mona's Theme" reminds me of late weekend nights, staying up and listening to great classical pieces performed by Dinu Lapati, when I was studied to be a concert pianist (yes, the folly of youth and the corruption / sedudtion of pop music).
What I love about the piece is that it's memorable. The fact that the piece is sparse and economical, it has a haunting effect that lasts a great long time - it stays with you. Lovely piece. I'll be back for more listens.
