Sounds Like
Well, with Carl's band, I guess the idea is that I should sound like Keith Emerson... not sure if I do though!
I currently play in The Carl Palmer Band (of Emerson, Lake and Palmer) and with Neal Morse's band. When I'm not doing that, I teach at BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music).
The Carl Palmer Band did a long ol' tour of the U.S. in the summer of '06 - I kept a blog of every single day of it here. So, if you're at all interested in the day to day activities of the band then please feel free to check it out.
At the moment most of my energy is being put into writing a book. For the best part of 3 years I wrote the rock column in Guitarist magazine, the book is an expansion of all those columns (with a few bonuses thrown in for good measure). The book will be available summer 2009.
If you're interested in receiving more information and updates about the book, please send me a message with your e-mail address and I'll put you on my mailing list.

Hey Paul, your wallace and gromit theme is fantastic! I really dig your style. You're an amazing guitarist and an inspiration to probably (yet another) fellow musician. cheers, from the north east coast of Australia.
hey! we are trying to change something... our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health. so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two... hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex! kind regards! DREAMSCAPE (progressive metal from germany) (new cd november 2009! - buy or let die!)
PS: always believe in your dreams! and don't get frightened if they are becoming real! - because for a believer they will!
