"Em agosto de 2007, Téo Meteoro (Slaver), Luiz Souza e Yarlles Pinheiro, se unem em idéias com o objetivo de formar uma banda que soasse como a antiga escola do Death Metal. Algo que transitasse entre Pestilence, Benediction a Possessed e Kreator, flertando com todo aquele Speed-Thrash cru da saudosa década de 80, sem espaço para modismos e feito aos antigos moldes.
Escolados no metal antigo e, influenciados por bandas como: Morgoth e Asphyx, a banda fez o lançamento do primeiro registro, intitulada: "Veterans Of Death", gravada de forma completamente independente pelo ex-membro da banda: Renato Gama (atual “Acid Speech”). A promo rendeu alguns shows em Brasília (capital do país) e em algumas cidades do entorno da região. Mas então em maio de 2008 o Pesticide lança sua demo oficial, batizada: Hellish Warfare; Que foram cinco sons caóticos, inebriantemente climáticos e, por vezes, rápidos como à velha escola alemã; Transpondo a veia Thrash que a banda possui.
Hellish Warfare é um álbum que remete o Death-Metal às antigas ondas, composto de letras que retratam cenários das frias realidades de guerras, violência e de conflitos gerados à subserviência do ser humano a credos regionais e a históricos “heróis”.
O clímax temático do disco aponta todo o retrocesso da humanidade fazendo analogias aos dias atuais, narrando todo esse caos institucionalizado em que o ser humano vive por conta dessa bagagem cultural.
Após o lançamento da demo, o Pesticide seguiu em power-trio. Contudo, a banda viu a necessidade de um segundo guitarrista. Então, convidou: Pedro Capaça (Scumbag e Violator) para assumir o posto. Com a sua formação consolidada, a banda tocou em diversas regiões do país, dividindo palco com nomes como: Taurus, WitcHammer e o Orgy Of Flies.

In August 2007, Téo Meteoro (..Slaver), Luiz Souza and Yarlles Pinheiro join in ideas with a purpose to set up a band that should sound like the Death Metal’s old school. Something among Pestilence, Benediction to Possessed and Kreator, flirting with all that raw speed-thrash of the nostalgic decade of 80, with no room for trends and made in the old shapes.
Schooled at the old metal and influenced by bands like: Morgoth and Asphyx, they launched their first register, entitled: "Veterans of Death", recorded completely independent by the former member: Renato Gama (now “Acid Speech”). The promo resulted in some shows in Brasília (federal district) and in other cities. In May 2008, Pesticide released their official demo, baptized: Hellish Warfare, with 5 chaotic, inebriatly climatic, tracks and at times, fast like the German old school, overpassing the Thrash vein of the band.
Hellish Warfare is an album that reminds the old Death Metal, with lyrics that portray the cold and violent reality of the war scenarios and conflicts for human being subservience about regional creeds and historical “heroes”. The thematic climax of the album points out the backstroke humanity making analogies to the current days, narrating all the institutionalized chaos that the human being lives due to that cultural load.
After releasing the demo, Pesticide carried on in power trio. However, the band needed a second guitarist. So they invited Pedro Capaça (Scumbag and Violator) to take the place on. With a consolidated formation, the band played in several regions of the country, sharing stage with: Taurus, WitcHammer and Orgy of Flies.
The current line-up is: Yarlles Pinheiro (Vocal/Bass), Luiz Souza (Guitar), Pedro Capaça (Guitar) and Téo Meteoro (Drums) that promise new stuff very soon.
