About me:
Born on May 24th under the sign of the Gemini, Philip J. Fragale becomes “Philthy” Phil when he picks up his bass. By day, a corporate professional and devoted father. By night, a bass playing, musical maniac and 1/5 of a powerful Rock and Roll machine know as DEVIL YOU KNOW.
A Bronx born native and veteran of the NYC original music scene, Phil began playing bass in his early high school years jamming along to some of his favorite bands like Soundgarden, Skid Row, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and Kiss. After relentlessly pounding away at the strings, he realized that his love for music and bass guitar was more of an obsession rather than just a simple hobby. This led to starting bands and hitting the streets to share his love with the people. Phil has been seen in bands such as Black Rain, Driven and Nocode.
After moving across the river to New Jersey, Phil decided to entice his musical palate and take things in a new direction. This is when Phil met the boys from Shooting Blanks. Phil spent 2 1/2 years hitting the NJ Rock/Party scene hard. He found some good life-long friends in SB and has had some unforgetable times. But Phil's musical journey does not end there. He decided it was time to return to his "roots". It was time to follow his heart and go with his one musical love. That is his love for good, gut busting, head banging, fist pumping Rock 'n' Roll!!! Now starts the new chapter know as DEVIL YOU KNOW. ARE YOU READY NEW JERSEY?!?!?!?
