Listening to just one of Plastic Shell's tunes is enough to give you the
impression that these cats know exactly what time it is. Who are Plastic
Shell, you ask? Like minded friends came together in December 2006, taking
the idea of a live electronic band, and shooting it straight to the moon.
Taking their name from their sound (Plastic Shell), these geniuses are on a
mission to create both breaks and tech house that both touches your soul and
your feet. Excelling in dark, proggy grooves, or emotive monsters, there's
nowhere these guys fail - in fact, they mold all of the above into a slick
teched out package in such a manner, you'd think they've been around years
longer. Standout tunes like "Gutbucket", "Foley", and the "Origin" remix
take similar, but different routes. Gutbucket harkens back to nuskool of
yore, while Foley hits big on the emotive breaks train. The Origin remix is
all about pure techfunk destruction. Obviously doing their homework,
Plastic Shell show that they can appreciate both the aggressive, and the
