Pneuma was born in 2002, with four guys with a taste for thrash metal, death metal and progressive rock. In the first couple of years pneuma earned a good reputation in the metal and in the progressive scene, recording in 2003 their first EP "A run Through...", with a progressive metal approach.
In 2005 along with Decembers Cold Winter, pneuma went on a tour that included many dates in the outer regions of Costa Rica and Panama called "The Awakening tour"(more info www.awakeningtour.com)which made a big impact in the metal scene of the area and also captured the attention of the local media.
In 2005 Pneuma was voted by the users of the web-page La escapatoria, best band of the year proving that the more agressive direction the band took, in a thrash metal, metalcore vein with a progressive edge was making an impact in the scene. In that same poll, the band took home best local concert of the year for their "Awakening Tour" efforts.
In 2006 Pneuma signed with Freak World Entertaiment, a local indie label, and are currently undergoing the recording process of their first professional studio album, which will be entitled "Screaming at the Gates". This will hopefully be Pneuma's ticket to reach a much more wider audience. The album is expected to be released in November 2008.

ETERNAL – Fiesta de Lanzamiento Disco Debut “Seeds Of Evolution”!!!!!!!!!!!!

Estamos complacidos en anunciarles el lanzamiento de nuestro disco debut “Seeds Of Evolution”, esta es una labor que comenzamos en setiembre del 2008 y al fin damos los últimos toques para traerles nuestro nuevo material, un full lenght que contendrá 11 tracks originales grabados, mezclados y masterizados en Marsol 3:16 Estudios cuyo contenido será el siguiente:

La actividad se llevará a cabo en el Acid Bar (Del cementerio de Tibás 100 este, 100 sur) el sábado 20 de junio a las 8 p.m.
El disco tendrá un valor de 6000 colones, y se podrá encontrar en las principales tiendas después de la fiesta, lo cual estaremos anunciando con más detalle oportunamente.
Aparte del disco también tendremos a la venta camisetas, habrá rifas, videos metal, además de las ricas bocas y la excelente atención del Acid Bar.
También pueden escuchar tres piezas que hemos subido en www.myspace.com/eternalcr para escuchar un adelanto del disco, y para que puedan conocer un poco más al grupo.
