polarOPPOSITEbear is a new-wave post-punk band based out of Wichita, KS. Comprised of 4 passionate and eclectic musicians fronted by former Ricky Fitts lead axe man and vocalist Matt Wiseman, POB is a bright green light shining in the darkest room. With allusions to Joy Division and Gang Of Four. POB is an introspective, dark and danceable experience. Heavier than Interpol and more honest than most, a band that is approachable and unpretentious, but still dark and sincere. Their "get in the van let’s do this" attitude, shows that their hard work and ambition will make many take notice and dance.

Lots of energy, lots of fun, lots of everything that music should be. The rain could not stop this party from continuing full throttle, and pOb helped keep it going. They are such a positive influence on the music scene in Wichita and I love them all so much!

Dooooooooooods, how did the show go? So bummed we couldn't make it. Day we were supposed to leave for tour we find out that the van we were gonna rent in went into a crazy ass law suit of ownership. lame. Hope you guys are doin' well!
