About me: My husband and I have created this profile in the prayer and hope that Christ will bring healing and revelation to those who are involved in pornography & sexual sin, and to help and support those who have been hurt by it’s effects. I also have a heart for women who have been deceived by our enemy in reference to body image. Pornography and advertising are two huge contributing factors to low self esteem and eating disorders in women. This has become a huge problem in our society, and it is time Christians start to stand and fight against these attacks!! Who I'd like to meet: I am interested in meeting anyone who has been hurt by the effects of pornography and lust. People are divided into 2 categories; those who belong to the world and its ruler Satan, then those who belong to God. {Acts 26:18} These 2 groups of people are described in terms of opposites all through the Bible: those in darkness * those in the light, those with eternal life * those with eternal death, those who have peace with God * those who are at war with Him, those who believe the truth * those who believe the lies, those on the narrow path to salvation * those on the broad road to destruction, {and more}. The message of Scripture is this: believers are completely different from nonbelievers & its from this perspective we must discern what kind of friendships we can have with unbelievers. Second Timothy 2:24~26 says that as servants of the Lord we are to be kind to & not quarrel with anyone. We should gently teach those who oppose the truth & be patient with difficult people. Matthew 5:16 says: *Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly father* We should serve unbelievers so they may see God through us & turn to Him in praise. James 5:16 says that there is great power in the prayer of a righteous person, so bring your concerns for unbelievers before God & He will listen. Many people have been saved because of the prayers & service of Christians so dont turn your back on unbelievers {but remember that having any kind of intimate relationship with an unbeliever can quickly and easily turn into something that is a hindrance to your walk with Christ}

EPHESIANS 2:10 NLT 10 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Outwardly, you may not appear to be much of a masterpiece. You may look like a piece of junk. But inwardly, and in reality, you are God's work of art -- and God does not make any junk.
All that is outward and seen is only temporary -- like the cocoon the butterfly inhabits for only a short time. So, while you should take care of your present body, don't be overly concerned about it. Most importantly, don't think of yourself as just the body you are now living in.
You are a child of Almighty God, creator and ruler of the universe. Someone God is "raising" to be His companion for eternity. You are NOT insignificant.
Admittedly, you are a work in progress. God still has more work to do with you -- but He is the artist, and He will finish His work. (Hint: as you submit to God, the easier it is for Him to change you into the wonderful image He has in mind.)
Someday, everyone will clearly see what God has done in you: making you a wonderful, unique individual worthy of Himself.
SAY THIS: Regardless of how I look or feel, I AM God's work of art -- His masterpiece.
