Veteran musicians with pedigrees going back to the 80s, the four members of Primasonic have paid their dues in previous bands with varying levels of success. Having first gotten together to make some glorious noise in late 2006, Primasonic are now celebrating two years as a cohesive, tight, performing unit.
The songs? Quick bursts of intensity coupled with melody and passion. Mostly midtempo rhythms with an occasional dose of musical speed (or valium) as needed. Inspired by life and living. The good, bad, and ugly parts...plus some that are just faded memories barely recalled after a Jagermeister-induced blackout. Life is neither pretty nor easy...and Primasonic are here to provide a soundtrack for it.
Powerful, infectious, catchy, and memorable. Paying homage to the innovators of the 60s, 70s, and 80s while, at the same time, looking toward the future. Some call it punk, some call it powerpop, and others call it rock. Call it what you will but please remember to keep the keep the safety ear-plugs handy 'cause Primasonic are f***ing LOUD!"

Westword Critics Choice (9/25-10/01 '08)
"Many punk-rock purveyors of musical mayhem spout lyrics that make them sound like a bunch of idiots who are only in it to get drunk and maybe score with some equally soused groupies. There's nothing dangerous about a buffoon that advertises his or her own stupidity in song. Primasonic (due Saturday, September 27, at the Larimer Lounge) may get drunk and otherwise carouse — or not — but at least the songs reveal that its members haven't forgotten that punk and rock music in general are about upsetting the status quo. Some do that by pushing the boundaries of what music can be, and some do it by performing music like it still means something to rock without all the edges smoothed off. This band is in the latter category, and it sure doesn't apologize for speaking unpopular truths." - Tom Murphy, Westword
"Exposing the thin line between punk and rock 'n roll..." - The Onion
"...considerable energy and fanatical exactitude..." - Westword
"Primasonic has their roots firmly planted in Rock n' Roll but with plenty of Punk attitude." - Upstarter
"Musically they can best be described as AC/DC meets the New Bomb Turks and Plimsouls, though I've had friends tell me that they remind them of everyone from The Stooges to The Who on speed." - AbsolutePunk.net
"I'd say that they play a cool mix of retro 70's rock mixed with some 60's garage fuzz and some good old classic punk rock. But the attitude is 100% PUNK rock." - '77 Rocks
"this band has the charisma, chops, attitude, and (most importantly) songs which will undoubtedly result in them becoming the greatest rock 'n roll export that the 303 has cultured in quite some time." - 9News.com
"some of the best music I've encountered so far since doing this site. It's like the Ramones, the Reverand Horton Heat and The Rolling Stones got in bed, fooled around, couldn't remember it the next morning, and 9 months later had a bouncing bundle of joy!" - - Colorado Local Music
"These four guys can actually write hooky, memorable, punk anthems. But they also infuse liberal doses of classic rock and roll in the mix and, trust me, you will most definitely walk out of their show humming at least one of their many future classics." - Associated Content

Specimen will bring their special brand of glam mayhem, The Batcave to London again.

The 2009 Batcave will feature installations from exciting new artists of the ‘Dark London Underground’ and visuals from the upcoming ‘Welcome To The Batcave’ book, along with this year’s bitcrushed message from the creature in t
