Album Reviews:
"Blissed-out glitchtronica from the latest bedroom genius to follow in the footsteps of Richard D. James. Cue: luscious, melodic blips'n'beeps" - NME
"If breakcore has a sunnier side, that's where the Project resides, and it works. There are a lot of warm tones that blossom in and around the glitches giving the easy, non-combative feel to the album.. the song craft has a wide scope and Project Serendipity are in possession of some real gems." - Silent Ballet
"Project Serendipity offer a far more engaging prospect with over 30 tracks of short, excitable bleeps and beeps. The London-based electronica outfit make that kinda crunchy wire-splitting fuzz that tapes make when they jam only with beautiful Four Tet twinklings beneath it and choppy beats which will keep you interested throughout its course." - Shadowplay Fanzine
"Pleasant soothing instrumental post-rock flavoured organic electronica..Clever, rewarding, complex without ever becoming cluttered, a healthy example of less being more. Gentle guitars, bright glokenspiel, warm melodica and all flowing in such an easy to listen to manner. Inviting, glowing, welcoming, delightfully creative and just right – in fact, rather highly recommended" (Album of the week) - Organ Magazine
"I hear this album and I'm immediately reminded of why I thought this music was so exciting..This album is incredibly focused on melodies first, then manic beatfuckery second, and it never loses sight of that throughout its 32 tracks. The album is so packed with ideas that it never gets tiring, it never gets anywhere close to approaching wanky, and it's always exciting. One of the best electronic albums in recent memory." - Foxy Digitalis
"Project Serendipity is about the builds, blips and beats. Add to that some Melodica and Guitar work and you have a superb album. Constantly working on dynamic structures like a more creative and innovative Squarepusher with Slint style builds" - Last Hours
"[Project Serendipity] sounds like 80's Computer Game Music, Some bits even sound like the music when the C64 cassettes loaded but faster..If I could do the robot dance I'd do it to this music" - The New Wave of Cut and Paste
Live Reviews:
Electric guitar, some foot pedals, a laptop, melodica and more.. Performed four tracks with a mixture of bleeping ambience and intermittent thrashes comparative to the Album Leaf, Autechre and Four Tet. His third song elated me as he brought his recently purchased tenori-on in to action. I’ve only seen these in print (Shook1) or demo-ed in stores and was entranced with the combination of moving lights and great sounds, his programming sounded like a Steve Reich track remixed by Kode-9. The closing song worked too, with the melodica well-pitched, played live and then freaked out with FX.
