Sounds Likemath rock really...but a bit different...melodic i think...nice to me and hopefully to you...a bit angular...hopefully theres some fun pop in there too, a bit jazzy but not in a jazzy way at all...some people say it sounds like it sounds like ghosts and vodka but i don't really agree, but i guess thats nice and people might know more than me...its hard to describe a sound...i think a little bit of one or two of our songs sound like post rock but i don't think matt will like that so maybe they dont...i think our music sounds fun in a not particularly dramatic but quite sincere way.

Instruments

Predominantly instrumental music with simalarities to bands such as American Football and Make Believe.

Itch

Angular, intense but ultimately anthemic mathy rock.

Elks

From London bringing us jerky post hardcore pop complete with rousing manic vocals.

Spokes

Beautiful epic post rock.

Chrik

2 piece with drums, cymbals, a guitar and loop pedal.

and blah, blah, blah........

SKITANJA

Amped up to gabba-strength and power. Guitars like Dick Dale on horse-strength steroids – single-mindedly aggressive, spastic and maddened – grating strings near the bridge, putting on the tremolo until it looks the strings might fall off, only changing chords when absolutely necessary. Staccato trumpet blasts, frightening synth blurts, sampled farm noises, razor-sharp guitar shards, sounding not unlike a 10 disc cd changer with ADD, loaded with jazz, gabba, skronk and opera, turned up loud and pushed down the stairs. Focused, deadly, visceral. They are musical pranksters of the first order, playing genres the way lesser men play instruments, slamming together and discarding one idea after another like a reorchestrated John Zorn or The Residents.

EYES

Nail In The Coffin Records (Xiu Xiu, Meth And Goats, Laser Mountain, etc).

Cosmic sensory overload of electro/R&B/pop/outsider free jazz worship!
Totally good and totally from Chicago, USA.
